Could somebody tell me what the difference between RnB and Soul is please?

Rhythm and Blues (or R & B) is a blend of several music styles, the Blues from the South, like Muddy Waters and those type of artists. This is mostly B-driven with lyrics that invoke strong emotion. Soul is a style that describes most Black or urban music ( until about the last 20 years). Soul was uniquely created and performed by Black artists, and has influences from many different styles. Soul at one time that was uniquely different from any kind of other music.
