Problem with Windows Media?

I recently had to reformat my notebook due to a problem I had with it earlier. Everything's back to normal, but every time I play a DVD on my notebook, I go into Windows Media and it switches over to CyberLink Power DVD. WMP is my preferred Media Player and it just flat out annoys me. I am using a Dell Vostro 1000 and any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
