BIBLE THUMPERS - God was a spirit in the OT in the NT he got a body, died and was resurrected

He went back up into Heaven and said that he would return in the same way he left. He didn't leave his body here - he took it with him. We are created in his image. Why are you guys saying he is a spirit and has no body? Where is this coming from. It totally contradicts the Bible. If you guys want to be taken seriously you have got to know the truth about the Bible.
