Should I go to UCSB or CU Boulder?

I've been accepted at both CU Boulder and UCSB as a transfer and would like a little help deciding where to go to school. I'm a california resident leaning toward UCSB because of the beach lifestyle and slightly better academics. However I also like exploring new places and love the school spirit that exists at Boulder. Any help would be great.
