Publishing some works in El Salvador?

My boyfriend of two years is from El Salvador. I find myself at times thinking he has a wife in El Salvador. Multiple times he has addressed this concern with me, but I feel he hasn't been straight forward. I want to publish some poems I wrote in a newspaper, magazine or maybe a book that will be read by people in El Salvador. Maybe, I'm just crazy. Would anyone be able to help me with information on how to go about doing this?
