I/O engine mount question?

I have a 1987 Phantom fish & ski with a 3.0 OMC engine and a Cobra outdrive. Where the front motor mount attaches to the fibergl "stringer", the fibergl mount has become brittle and the front of the motor has dropped down about 2 inches. The outer hull is not affected, just this piece that the motor mount attaches to. Is this repairable? If so, how do I do it, and with what kind of materials?
